Anesthesia
Anesthesia services are available 24 hours per day at Smith County Memorial Hospital. Surgical anesthesia, epidural pain control for childbirth and chronic pain management using steroid epidural blocks are provided by a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. The CRNA also assists with emergency airway management for patients with trauma or medical emergencies.
