Dr. Conant attended MidAmerica Nazarene University and graduated from the KU School of Pharmacy before entering Kansas University School of Medicine. After completing his residency at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Dr. Conant came to Smith Center to begin medical practice in 1989. He and his wife Cris have one son, one daughter and four grandchildren.
Dr. Haack grew up in Stockton, KS. She earned a bachelor's degree from Concordia College and attended Medical School at Kansas University. After completing her residency at Wesley Family Practice in Wichita, Dr. Haack relocated to Smith Center in 2014. She and her husband Matt have four children; Isaiah, Janae, Nathaniel and Josiah.
Dr. Moll grew up in Stockton, KS and earned a bachelor's degree in biology from Washburn University. He attended medical school at The University of Kansas School of Medicine and is completing his residency training at Smoky Hill Family Medicine Residency in Salina, KS. He will move to Smith Center in 2021 with his wife, Hayley, and two sons, Lincoln and Theo.
Dr. Overmiller graduated from Tabor College. He completed Medical School at the University of Kansas School of Medicine and his residency at Smoky Hill Family Medicine. Dr. Overmiller began his practice in Smith County in 2008. Born and raised in Smith County, he is a true local and now resides here with his wife, Beca, and his sons Wyatt, Jackson and Asher.
Dr. Wiehl, a native of Kensington and a graduate of West Smith County High School, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Kansas State University and received a Doctor of Medicine degree from The University of Kansas School of Medicine. Following her medical education, Dr. Wiehl completed residency training in Family Medicine at the Mountain Area Health Education Center in Asheville, North Carolina. Dr. Wiehl is married to Joe Wiehl and the couple has two daughters, Willa and Millie.
Perry Desbien has more than 10 years of experience as a nurse practitioner. Before earning an MSN-FNP, Perry worked as an EMT, paramedic and RN. He has experience in family practice, emergency room, women's health and as a hospitalist. Perry loves working and living in Smith Center with his wife, Kendra. They have four children at home and two in college.
Jill Kuhlmann has a wide variety of experience and has worked in healthcare for her entire career. She earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Washburn University and worked as a labor and delivery nurse while completing an MSN at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Since becoming a nurse practitioner in 2014, Jill has worked in Osborne, Hays and joined Smith County Family Practice in 2019. She is married to her husband, Ethan, and has a stepdaughter, Baylin.
Hallie is a recent graduate of the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City. She enjoyed living in the city and all it had to offer while obtaining her physician assistant education, but always knew she would return to rural Kansas to be closer to family and friends. She is a Smith Center native and is excited to give back to the community that raised her.
Lindsay Rut has 10 years of experience as a physician assistant in emergency medicine, trauma and family practice. She earned a bachelor's degree in life science from Kansas State University and a master's in physician assistant studies from Wichita State University.
Guerrero Lopez graduated from Wichita State University in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences. He then completed the Wichita State Physician Associate Program in 2020. Guerrero has experience in emergency medicine, gastroenterology, urgent care, and wound care. He joined the emergency department in 2023. Guerrero enjoys the challenging cases and variety that emergency medicine brings and is happy to bring his skills to the Smith County and surrounding communities and work alongside the outstanding physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and allied health at Smith County Memorial Hospital. He also enjoys running, exercising, reading, and spending quality time with his dog Milo. He is a native of Macksville, KS.
Abigail (Abi) Hager earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a minor in Animal Sciences at Kansas State University (K-State). She then received a Master of Science at K-State in Biology with a dual research emphasis in college science education and animal science research. Following this, she decided to pursue a Master of Medical Science in Physician Associate studies at University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC). Abi has worked as a PA in internal medicine, urgent care, and emergency medicine since graduating in 2022. She joined Smith County Memorial Hospital in 2024 as an emergency medicine provider. She enjoys spending time with her family and animals, exercising, riding horses, and all things outdoors.
