Dr. Overmiller graduated from Tabor College. He completed Medical School at the University of Kansas School of Medicine and his residency at Smoky Hill Family Medicine. Dr. Overmiller began his practice in Smith County in 2008. Born and raised in Smith County, he is a true local and now resides here with his wife, Beca, and his sons Wyatt and Jackson.
Ferrill Conant, M.D.
Dr. Conant attended Kansas University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita before coming to Smith Center in 1989. Dr. Conant began his practice in Smith County in 1989. He and his wife of 40 years, Cris, have one son, one daughter and four grandchildren.
Hannah Haack, M.D.
Dr. Haack grew up in Stockton, KS. She attended Medical School at Kansas University and completed her residency at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. In 2014 Dr. Haack relocated to Smith Center with her husband of seven years, Matt and their children Isaiah, Janae and Nathaniel.
Stacey Dimitt, M.D.
Dr. Dimitt was born in Ness City, Kansas. She graduated from Fort Hays State University. She completed Medical School at the University of Kansas School of Medicine and her residency at Wesley Family Medicine. In 2014 Dr. Dimitt relocated to Smith Center with her husband, Bart and their daughter, Peyton.
Leah Wiehl, M.D.
Dr. Wiehl, a native of Kensington and a graduate of West Smith County High School, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Kansas State University, and received a Doctor of Medicine degree from The University of Kansas School of Medicine. Following her medical education, Dr. Wiehl completed residency training in Family Medicine at the Mountain Area Health Education Center in Asheville, North Carolina. Dr. Wiehl is married to Joe Wiehl of Smith Center.
Tammy Windscheffel, APRN
Tammy started as a nurse with SCMH in 1977. Twenty years after finishing her nursing degree at Fort Hays State University, she continued with her education to become a Nurse Practitioner. Tammy has been an APRN with SCMH since 1996. She lives in Smith Center with her husband John. The couple have three children and two grandchildren.
Julie Pletcher, APRN
Julie graduated from the University of Kansas. She has previously worked in Hays at High Plains Cardiology, at Midwest Cardiology in Kansas City, and Mid America Cardiology. She joined the Smith County Family Practice team in 2013. Julie lives in Smith County with her husband Dan and her children, Jade and Dane Colclasure.
Wini Schaedel, APRN
Wini is our Diabetes Consultant. She has been working with Diabetes patients for over 25 years. She joins the Medical Staff at Smith County Family Practice two days a month. Wini and her husband Robert, a retired Lutheran Minister, live near Lincoln, Nebraska close to their children, Chris and Susan and their families.
