Dr. Bandel is affiliated with Platte Valley Medical Clinic in Kearney, Neb. He is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery in the area of foot surgery. Dr. Bandel is attended undergraduate school at Chadron State College, in Chadron, Neb. and then went on to pursue a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at Des Moines University. Dr. Bandel completed a 3-year surgical residency at Hennepin County Medical Center, a Level 1 trauma center, in Minneapolis, Minn. Dr. Bandel comes to SCMH on the second Tuesday each month.
Dr. Banker is currently affiliated with Mitchell County Hospital Health Systems. Dr. Banker graduated from Kansas State University, followed by the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City. Dr. Banker completed his general surgery residency training at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, TX. Dr. Banker visits SCMH on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month.
Dr. Laki Evangelidis, is affiliated with Associated Urologists in Manhattan, Kansas. Dr. Evangelidis completed Medical school at the University of Kansas School of Medicine, followed by an internship at the University of Missouri School of Medicine and his residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Dr. Evangelidis visits SCMH every other month on the first Thursday.
Mary Jo Gubitoso is affiliated with DeBakey Heart Institute in Hays, Kan. She earned a Master of Science Nursing degree from Bloomsburg University in Bloomsburg, Pa., and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Missouri at Kansas City. Mary Jo comes to SCMH on the second Tuesday and the third Wednesday of the month.
Dr. Herold is affiliated with Hastings Radiology Associates and specializes in interventional radiology. He earned a medical degree from the University of Nebraska and completed a radiology residency at the University of Nebraska. Dr. Herold or one of his partners will visit SCMH on the first, third and fifth Thursdays each month.
Dr. Murphy is a board-certified vascular surgeon visiting SCMH from CHI Health Clinic Heart Institute in Kearney, Neb., He specializes in open vascular procedures as well as endovascular treatments. Examples include thoracic and abdominal aneurysm repair, dialysis access, venous procedures, peripheral angioplasty and thoracic aortic stent grafting.
Dr. Pankratz is affiliated with Obstetricians and Gynecologists, P.C. in Hastings, Nebraska. Dr. Pankratz received his Bachelors Degree from Hastings College. He completed his Doctor of Medicine Degree from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska, and his residency training at Truman Medical Center/St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. Dr. Pankratz comes to SCMH to see patients on the first and third Mondays of the month.
Dr Stritt is affiliated with Hastings Pulmonary and Sleep Clinic in Hastings, Nebraska. Dr. Stritt received his undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska - Kearney, and his doctorate of Medicine from the University of Nebraska Medical School in Omaha. He spent six years at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine in Jacksonville, Florida completing a residency and fellowship in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Stritt visits SCMH on the fourth Thursday each month.
Dr. Rodriguez is an interventional radiologist affiliated with Hastings Radiology Associates. He earned a medical degree from Michigan State University and completed a radiology residency at the University of Nebraska. Dr. Rodriguez or one of his partners will visit SCMH on the first, third and fifth Thursdays each month.
Dr. Rump is affiliated with Salina Regional Orthopedic Clinic. He earned a medical degree from Midwestern University in Chicago and completed his residency at Kansas City University in Missouri. He also completed a fellowship at Duke University Hospital and Medical Center. Dr. Rump comes to SCMH on the third Thursday of the month.
Dr. Teget is affiliated with Southwind Surgical in Hays, Kansas. After receiving his Bachelor of Fine Arts in History and Philosophy he attended Medical School at the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, followed by his residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City. Dr. Teget comes to Smith County Memorial Hospital on the first, second and third Mondays each month.
Dr. Vivek Varma is a Board Certified Interventional Cardiologist affiliated with Platte Valley Medical Clinic in Kearney, Neb. He earned his medical degree from the University of Maryland in Baltimore where he also completed his residency. He completed his cardiology fellowship at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. Dr. Varma visits patients at SCMH on the third Tuesday every month.
Dr. Memon is a Board-Certified Endocrinologist with training and experience in treating patients with diabetes, PCOS, thyroid, parathyroid, metabolic bone, pituitary and adrenal disorders.
Darren Wiens, is a Certified Prosthetist and Orthotist, and has been making prosthetic devices for amputees in Nebraska and northern Kansas since 2006.
