In a medical emergency, every second counts. That is why we are here to serve you: 24 hours per day, 365 days per year.
Our Emergency Department staff are dedicated and highly qualified. Our physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician’s assistant are here to serve you at all times. Designated in 2015 as a Level IV Trauma Center by the State of Kansas, our dedication to crisis care of injured patients is second to none in the area. As participants in the Kansas Heart and Stroke Collaborative, our medical providers and nursing staff use the latest evidence-based protocols, drugs and techniques to treat individuals with cardiovascular emergencies. Regardless of the type of emergency, we’re here to help.
As a Level IV Trauma Center, we provide advanced trauma life support (ATLS) prior to transferring patients to a higher level trauma center (if needed). EMTALA (Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act) is honored by our hospital. This means that anyone in our facilities who needs care will receive it, regardless of their ability to pay. We will tend to your urgent needs with urgent care.
