Quick evening mammogram appointments help women prioritize breast cancer screening.
Radiology Technicians want to ensure even the busiest woman can get a mammogram. That’s why Mariah Weis and Katie Joy, are passionate about organizing the annual SCMH Smash and Dash event, which coincides with Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The Smash and Dash event provides quick ten to fifteen minute evening mammogram appointments so moms, daughters, sisters, and friends can get important breast cancer screening.
Regular mammograms are the best test doctors have to find cancer early, sometimes up to three years before it can be felt, according to the CDC. Smash and Dash mammograms are available by appointment Tuesday, October 11, and Tuesday, October 25 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
