Nephrology deal with the diseases of the kidneys. This is a convenience for our patients to have this service in our community.

Kidney Disease is also known as “The Quiet Disease” to nephrologists. The National Kidney Foundation estimates that 1 in 7 Americans (over 37 million people) have CKD (Chronic Kidney Disease). However,  50% of people may not even realize they have it. This means it is extremely important to pay attention to any warning signs our bodies may be sending us.

Early Warning Sign of CKD:

  • High Blood Pressure
  • Unexplained Shortness of Breath
  • Dizziness
  • Headaches
  • Swelling of Feet/Ankles
  • Fatigue
  • Nausea/Vomiting
  • Changes in Urination
  • Severe Itchiness
