Smith County Memorial Hospital is staffed to perform scheduled procedures on a daily basis, we also have staff on call to perform emergency procedures 24 hours per day. Dr. Mark Banker
Dr. Banker is currently affiliated with the Beloit Medical Center in Beloit, Kansas. He joined Beloit Medical Center as a practicing general surgeon in September of 2016. Dr. Banker graduated from Kansas State University, followed by the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City. Dr. Banker completed his general surgery residency training at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, TX.
Dr. Paul Teget
Dr. Teget is affiliated with Southwind Surgical in Hays, Kansas. After receiving his Bachelor of Fine Arts in History and Philosophy he attended Medical School at the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, followed by his residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City.
Dr. LaVelle Ellis
Dr. Ellis is affiliated with Mowery Clinic in Salina, Kan. After receiving her medical degree from the University of Kansas, she completed fellowships in hepatology at Royal Free Hospital in London and gastroenterology in Detroit. Dr Ellis is certified in both internal medicine and gastroenterology and is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Association for the Study of Liver Disease, the American Gastroenterology Association, the American Association for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
Dr. Apostolos "Laki" Evangelidis
Dr. Laki Evangelidis, is affiliated with Associated Urologists in Manhattan, Kansas. Dr. Evangelidis completed Medical school at the University of Kansas School of Medicine, followed by an internship at the University of Missouri School of Medicine and his residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center.
